Celebrating Superman’s 85th anniversary, DC Studios co-CEO James Gunn took to Twitter to announce that the upcoming film “Superman: Legacy” is officially now in pre-production.
He wrote, “I’m honored to be a part of the legacy. And what better day than #SupermanAnniversary Day to dive fully into early pre-production on #SupermanLegacy? Costumes, production design, and more now up and running.”
“Superman: Legacy,” which will be written and directed by James Gunn, is scheduled to be released July 11, 2025.
