Big Time Collectibles are set to announce the availability of a New York Comic Con 2023 exclusive variant cover to “Superman ’78 #1” by artist Mico Suayan.
While not officially announced yet, the foil cover will feature an image of Superman flying skyward, in an image that seems inspired by “Superman: The Movie” poster artwork created by Bob Peak.
Will Torres, who did the internal art for the comic book series, posted a photo on Instagram stating, “SUPERMAN ’78 #1 Exclusive from @bigtimecollectibles with new cover art from @micosuayan just showed up at my door. Photo really doesn’t do the foil cover justice.”
New York Comic Con will take place from Thursday, October 12 until Sunday, October 15 at the Javits Center in NYC.
