“Supergirl” S03E12 “For Good” Preview Clip

The CW has released a preview clip from the 12th episode of Season 3 of “Supergirl”.

Titled “For Good”, this episode is scheduled to air on The CW in the USA tonight, January 29 at 8.00pm ET/PT.

MORGAN EDGE THREATENS LENA

Someone tries to kill Morgan Edge (guest star Adrian Pasdar) and he barely survives. He accuses Lena (Katie McGrath) of being behind the attempt and vows to destroy her. When Lena fears her hatred for Morgan will take her to the Luthor dark side, Kara (Melissa Benoist) steps in to help her friend. Meanwhile, after Sam (Odette Annable) realizes she’s losing time, she confides in Alex (Chyler Leigh) who decides to run some medical tests to see if she can find out what’s going on with her new friend.

Tawnia McKiernan directed the episode with story by Robert Rovner and teleplay by Cindy Lichtman and Alix Sternberg.

So Winn can track superman’s movements. Only two questions. Where is superman? They can track him but they don’t tell us where he is? With a viliian like reign, I would think that Kara would like some help and could use some back up from her cousin. They should at least give us an explanation on why he doesn’t show up to help from time to time. I know that Tyler probably has other roles he’s working on at the moment and I understand that, but they should at least have an explanation on why we don’t see Superman from… Read more »

Maybe part of the problem is that it would also work the other way? For example, If Winn had said “Superman’s in a brawl with Rampage on Clinton St.” then there would be the question of why doesn’t Kara go help him?

I guess that makes sense. I just wish that they’d give an explanation on where superman is when the threat that supergirl is facing is a global one.

I guess there they don’t want to make it seem like Supergirl can’t defeat a main villain without her cousins help and if this were a Superman show and Supergirl was always showing up when he confronted a high-tier supervillain we’d be complaining they were making him look like a wimp. It’s kind of a tough balancing act between letting the characters really shine on their own while also recognizing that they live in the same universe and showing us the awesomeness of them working together.
