“Super/Man: The Christopher Reeve Story” Theatrical Release Coming!

CinemaCon attendees in Las Vegas were treated to a trailer for the “Super/Man: The Christopher Reeve Story” documentary on the life and career of the Superman actor.

Peter Safran, Co-CEO of DC Studios, announced that the film will be released in theaters in September 2024, but no exact date has been specified as yet.

The trailer for “Super/Man: The Christopher Reeve Story” reportedly includes footage of Christopher Reeve’s son in distress after his father’s paralysing horse riding accident, Reeve’s connection to friend Robin Williams, and Reeve working out for his role as Superman in the 1978 film.

After receiving rave reviews during its world premiere at the 2023 Sundance Film Festival, the film became a hot ticket with Warner Bros. paying a reported US$15 million for an exclusive deal, outbidding Netflix and other interested parties.
