Superman Homepage Editor-in-Chief Steve Younis put his knowledge of “Superman: The Movie” and “Superman II” to the test on an episode of Australia’s “Mastermind” trivia gameshow.
Airing in Australia at 6.00pm ET tonight (Tuesday, April 5) on SBS, watch as Steve and the other contenders answer as many questions as possible in two minutes about their chosen specialist subject. In the second round, the four contestants face 90 seconds of general knowledge questions, with the contestant with the highest score advancing to the semi-final.
“It’s a bit nerve-racking putting yourself out there as an expert on something,” said Steve. ” I didn’t really care if I won, or even if I did well in the general knowledge section of the show. I just wanted to make sure I didn’t embarrass myself with the Superman questions. It looks easy watching on from the comfort of your lounge chair. It’s a different thing altogether when you’re sitting in an unfamiliar TV studio, under the spotlight, with the pressure on. I think I did okay. At the end of the day it was a fun experience.”
