News broke in September 2022 of a Warner Bros. direct-to-video movie titled “Scooby-Doo! And Krypto, Too!” created by South Korean animation studio Digital eMation. It was understood that the project was canned and written-off as part of the recent Warner Bros. Discovery cost-cutting efforts, and then the movie leaked online in March.
However, now Warner Bros. Entertainment is promoting the news that the trailer for “Scooby-Doo! And Krypto, Too!” is set to be released tomorrow!
Waiting is ruff, but don’t worry – the trailer for SCOOBY-DOO! AND KRYPTO, TOO! premieres tomorrow.
The 78-minute animated movie, which appears to be set in the same continuity as the 2006-2007 “Legion of Super Heroes” animated series, leaked online, and was available to download from a number of locations, including archive.org.
Along with Scooby-Doo and Shaggy, other characters appearing include members of the LSH, Superman, Superman X (aka Kell-El), along with villains such as The Joker, Harley Quinn, and three Kryptonians who could well be General Zod, Ursa and Non.
Either way, Warner Bros. Entertainment appears to be pushing ahead with an official release of “Scooby-Doo! And Krypto, Too!”.
