Disappointed we won’t be seeing the best modern day live action luthor again. Should have given him Eisenbergs salary.

That sux. His version of Lex by far is still the best lex interpretation yet to date. Loved his version of Lex.

Bummer! And we were on a roll too. Michael Rosenbaum’s Lex is definitely my favorite version of Lex Luthor. I am so disappointed by this news.
Well hopefully we can get Smallville’s Kara to join in on this crossover. There’s Still time to get Dean Cain for his version of Superman and Terry Hatcher for her version of Lois Lane.
I wonder if there’s any possibility for John Shea’s Lex to make an appearance for the crossover. I always felt that he did a pretty good job on his take on Lex.

Wow, that’s just pathetic on the part of WB. They desperately need to raise their professional game. What did they expect, that Michael would jump back into the role on the basis of nostalgia, obligation or sentimentality? Come on. Definitely a missed opportunity to see more of the Smallville cast come back together on the screen.

It’s a bummer he won’t be there, but I honestly can’t blame him for passing on it with zero information about the role besides what character he will be.

Man, this sounds more like the way Saban treats veteran Power Rangers actors than it does a major studio.

True MattComics. Although I do give actor Jason David Frank a lot of credit for continuing playing his role of Tommy the Power Ranger for his kickstarter video Legend of the White Dragon that has been advertised on YouTube. I had made a mistake. I had previously said that it was a go fund me project when I had meant that it is a Kickstarter project. Jason David Frank, if you’re reading my comments, I’m sorry about that. I confused the two, but I fixed it. The man is very dedicated to the role that made him famous, and to… Read more »

Can’t really blame the man.
I would have expected that kind of offer from the Canon Film producers, but not WB/CW.

It would have been really awesome to see him as Lex once more. Shame really. But it is how it is and he is right to pass.

SMH, WB/DC (And AT&T now) incompetence knows no bounds.

Rosenbaum is a great actor, and his portrayal as Lex is by far the best, but I wouldn’t jump to conclusions about how he was treated by production. We’re really only seeing what he said about it. There are lots of factors in play. For starters, they probably don’t have the script fully ready. It is tough to write scenes if you don’t know which characters are going to be in it, so writing without knowing if an actor is returning is problematic. I suspect they want to see who’s on board before they start really getting into the “guest… Read more »
