Adult Swim has announced that Season 2 of the “My Adventures With Superman” animated series will premiere on Toonami at midnight on Saturday, May 25. The double-episode, one hour premiere will then be available to stream on MAX the next day.
New enemies, familiar faces.
Actors Jack Quaid (“The Boys”) and Alice Lee (“Zoe’s Extraordinary Playlist”) lead the “My Adventures with Superman” voice cast as Clark Kent and Lois Lane, respectively. The series is produced by Warner Bros. Animation with Register (“Teen Titans Go!”) serving as executive producer. Jake Wyatt (“Invader Zim: Enter the Florpus”) and Brendan Clogher (“Voltron: Legendary Defender”) are co-executive producers and Josie Campbell (“She-Ra and the Princesses of Power”) is co-producer.
I really liked the first season. They laid a lot of groundwork for future stories.
I have high hopes for season two. Fingers crossed.
