As Martian Manhunter and Amazo question their existence and places in the Multiverse, the former wonders if the villains whom the Justice League has fought feel the same during their repeated attempts at world domination or other nefarious plots. Meanwhile, a strange energy seeps from a mirror Amazo has cracked. What that means for the Justice League is anyone’s guess. Yet, it could mean certain danger for all that lives.

Granny Goodness and Kalibak have crashed The Flash’s birthday party. Yet, since Darkseid abandoned Apokolips in the JLU episode “Destroyer”, they’re at each other’s throats while battling the League. Mister Miracle uses this to his advantage. He tracks their Boom Tubes and reverses their polarities, forcing them to return to Apokolips. Superman recounts the adventure to Lois as they have a romantic moment together. This, unfortunately, is interrupted by the energy released by Amazo, and the Man of Steel is replaced by a darker version of himself.

5Story – 5: I’ve missed the Timmverse and the comics based upon it. This may influence my review, but this is a book I absolutely loved. I feel like we were given a new season of “Justice League Unlimited” with this one. If that was the intention, DeMatteis and Tucker succeeded a million times over. Pick this one up if you’re a fan of the animated series.

5Art – 5: Wow! The art really solidifies the return to the Timmverse. Totally fantastic is an understatement.

5Cover Art – 5: A sequel to the JLU series deserves a great cover, and this is it.

4Variant Cover Art – 4: It looks a little rougher than the main cover, but I’ve seen a lot worse.

I was really impressed with the first issue of Justice League Infinity. I appreciate how this new series is set in the Justice League Unlimited continuity. Hopefully things will pick up steam as this series goes forward.

Why would the Martian Manhunter choose the form of a woman being a male martian himself? Beyond that looks like a good follow-up to the animated series

I can’t remember if the show established “John Jones” as his default human identity or did they have him existing as multiple people when not being himself or Martian Manhunter.
