SYFY has released the trailer for the 2nd episode of Season 1 of “Krypton”.
After suffering a tragedy, Seg is forced to adjust to a new life, a new rank, and a new threat.
Titled “House of El”, this episode is scheduled to air on SYFY in the USA on Wednesday, March 28 at 10.00pm ET & PT/9.00pm CT.
I thought that the pilot was ok. I just think that maybe that they shouldn’t use the John Williams Superman theme in some of the scenes. I was wondering if this show is in the Snyder verse, why use the Williams Superman theme? I think that it might confuse some people into thinking that this show might be connected to Christopher Reeve’s Superman instead of Cavill’s. It was nice hearing the theme, however this is a prequel series to man of steel so it makes no sense to use a theme song from a different continuity.
Maybe at some point they will cover the events that happened in the days prior Krypton’s destruction. Although that might be more for a movie than for a tv series.
The show is NOT set in the Snyder-verse. It’s not attached to any version of Superman that we have seen before. People glomed onto the idea that it was because David Goyer is invloved.
Is it doing what Supergirl has been doing with references about Superman’s history? Taking bits and pieces from different versions of Superman’s history?
