JCDecaux, who specialize in outdoor advertising, set up a special installation in Australia recently to promote the release of “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” to the home video market.
In collaboration with Roadshow, JCDecaux Australia launched an augmented reality campaign with software created by Grand Visual. Two interactive panels in Sydney and Brisbane encouraged pedestrians to view themselves in either the Batman or Superman suit on the touchscreen and to share the selfies via social media.
Something similar was done a few months ago at a Copenhagen bus shelter for the release of the film to theaters…
JCDecaux built a giant Batman and a giant Superman on top of a bus shelter and installed digital panels that turned commuters into their favorite superhero. They could also share their selfies via e-mail or on Social Media.
