Dylan Walsh Cast as Series Regular for “Superman and Lois”

According to Deadline.com, Dylan Walsh has been cast as a series regular for the upcoming “Superman and Lois” TV series, playing the role of General Sam Lane.

Lois Lane’s father, General Sam Lane is described as “a serious Army General whose main mission is to protect the United States of America as well as the world from any threats, whether it comes from on or off Earth. Anyone who works for or together with him is expected to performing 110% no matter what.”

While Glenn Morshower played the role on “Supergirl”, he hasn’t been seen on the series since the Season 1 finale titled “Better Angels”.

Walsh returns to The CW after co-starring as Lucy Hale’s father on the series “Life Sentence”, but is probably best known for his lead role in FX’s “Nip/Tuck” and CBS/A&E’s “Unforgettable”.

Beyond the roles of Superman/Clark Kent (Tyler Hoechlin) and Lois Lane (Elizabeth Tulloch), we also know that Jordan Elsass and Alexander Garfin have been cast in the roles of Clark Kent and Lois Lane’s twin sons, Jonathan and Jordan Kent.

Produced by Berlanti Productions and Warner Bros. Television, “Superman & Lois” is being written and executive produced by Todd Helbing, former showrunner of “The Flash”. Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, and Geoff Johns will also executive produce the series.

I don’t know anything about this actor but from the looks of this photo, I think he looks the part for General Sam Lane. It’s good to hear some positive news right now.
