The DC Kids YouTube channel has uploaded a video of Superman best moments from the “DC Super Hero Girls” animated series.
Superman can’t help but steal the limelight from the DC Super Hero Girls! He’s like an annoying older brother in that way…

Unfortunately, this is more evidence that, overall, Warner Brothers does NOT respect Superman. It’s very sad and hurtful to see. Superman is an iconic American superhero. Yet both the movie and animation studios that have rights to use him have treated him badly. It’s crazy to me that Legendary Pictures (an American production company) actually respects Godzilla (a Japanese character) a lot more than Warner Brother respects Superman. Legendary Pictures gave Godzilla a solid Hollywood film trilogy (and overall 4-film story with Kong in there) whereas Warner Brothers continues to disrespect the first superhero and American icon, Superman at every… Read more »
If it were up to me, I’d change this whole series back to its original form. And I would have Superman treated with way more respect whenever he’d show up. He’d be viewed like All Might (from My Hero Academia) is viewed by new heroes in training. They would look up to him in awe. And I would change Supergirl to being Superman’s biggest fan. She would look up to her cousin so much that she would want to be just like him. None of this who is the better “Super” nonsense and none of this making Superman look like… Read more »
I guess since it’s being played for laughs we’re supposed to just think ‘Oh well this is Earth Toon” or whatever so it doesn’t matter that he’s characterized as a arrogant jerk here.
..but I think it’s just really needless and dumb in addition to just being eye-rolling and frustrating. Yeah it’s not mainline DC continuity or anything but still it just makes me go “…why?”
I just don’t understand why the makers of this show feel the need to treat Superman so horribly bad. It’s like they want their viewers to not like him. It’s really shameful the way they treat the world’s greatest and most loved superhero. This isn’t Superman’s best moments, this is Superman’s worst moments. I’m just shaking my head at this series.

I just wanted to say, that this version of Superman is the most disrespectful and worst interpretation of the charature. I hope that the Superman Homepage isn’t offended by what I had just said. And I apologize if anyone’s is offended but I just think that this version disrespects Superman.
