The angry heat vision face that Superman has looks horrifying. Why did they choose that face to make? What’s wrong with a good smile?

Well, I doubt he would be smiling while in the actual process of using his heat-vision especially in a battle situation. THAT would be horrifying. Still the design for the heat-vision head does look a little over the top. It’d be probably balance more if you did have the option of a head with a freindly looking expression to go along with his business face and his angry eyes.

I would think the premise is that it takes some degree of effort to start his heat vision. BUT….we all know it’s ONLY unworthy if it’s Snyder’s version of Superman doing it.

I mean there’s angry heat vision eyes, then there’s nightmarish heat vision eyes. This one fits the bill for a nightmare. As angry as Cavill looks while using his heat vision, he just doesn’t look like something out of a Sam Rami horror flick while using it in my opinion. ( no offense Sam Rami)

What’s probably doing it is that his mouth is cartoonishly large combined with having the energy effect arching upwards like horns. Kinda creates a monsterous effect.

With Cavill I never dug that weird veiny effect they put around his eyes. Just never felt like heat vision needed some sort of gore to it. It also reminded me too much of the veiny effect for Kryptonite poisioning in Smallville.

I think you’re right about the mouth. It’s just too wide and open. Plus he has no pupils. It’s just solid red giving it a monstrous evil look to it.

When will they make a multiverse Tyler Hoechlin Superman figure and a Brandon Routh Crisis Superman figure? I hope that they make them soon.

Yeah they could make three different versions of Tyler’s Superman for a figure. A figure for his current suit, one for his Fleischer Superman suit, and one for his dark suit for the evil Superman. They could make a Morgan/Tal-Ro (I forget if that’s how his Kryptonian is spelled) figure. And maybe even have a piece for each figure that combines to build a Stee figure. They could also make an exclusive two pack figure set of Clark and Lois. They could also make an exclusive two pack figure set of Jonathan and Jordan. But most of all I really… Read more »

Not bad, but I’d still prefer the “Superman: Call to Action” premium format over this… if only the budget permits it, lol

A sublime looking statue with Superman looking legendary in the Iconic fashion The inter-changeable features especially the – Light’em up eyes – is an interesting and conversational touch to say the least. PS. Would like to have one of him (Superman) with hands on hips smiling.

For 85 bucks, count me in!!
