Steelworks #6 We pick up with Jon and Nat joining the fight against the Mecha. Lana shows up with her resurgent powers and buys them time to find a solution. The pair regroup with the Supers and discover that Genesis Energy affects young people differently than adults. Soon Silver Mist abandons the Mecha and joins the Superfamily. Together they formulate a plan of attack, Superman leads the charge while Silver Mist phases into the Mecha and steals the power source. Superman then throws the power source into the sun.

3Story - 3: This story primarily suffered from being too decompressed. It could have been cut down to a very fun two to three issues. Especially considering how easily the main villain is defeated in this issue. It was also poorly written how Superman became super weak in issue five, but then was fine to fight in issue six. The Superfamily's presence should have been limited in the final conflict anyways, to better allow Steel the chance to shine. We did get some great character moments of Steel using his suit and brains to solve the problems, it was also great to see Lana hold her own so well. The relationship between Lana and Steel was a brightspot of the miniseries.

I thought this story needed to flesh out how John's plan was different than Luthor's historic views of superheroes. The plans were too similar ideologically and in practice for me, why would Steel reuse past Luthor ideas? Also, I think this story may have been better though if the Supers had been off world during this conflict.

Overall, it was a fun finale to the miniseries.

4Art - 4: The art looked better than previous issues. Superman in particular looked fantastic! I don't have much more to add that I haven't stated in previous reviews for this miniseries.

4Cover Art - 4: A cool cover showing the will of Steel to continue the fight.

5Variant Cover - 5: Loved this cover, such a thrill to see the 90s represented so well.

3Variant Cover - 3: It's cool to see the different designs of Steel, but personally I did not like the overall style of the art here.
