As filming for the first two episodes of Season 2 of the “Supergirl” TV series continued in Vancouver this weekend, photographs of Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) standing together with her cousin Superman (Tyler Hoechlin) have been posted online, showing the pair in conversation in full costume.
Tyler Hoechlin, with a camera in hand, also appeared to be filming a scene as Clark Kent secretly taking photos.
Katie McGrath (who plays Lena Luthor) was also photographed on location filming a scene with Chyler Leigh (Alex Danvers).
So Steve, which one of the pics with Kara and Clark are going to be the next ‘Caption Contest’? I vote on the 4th one down. The one with Clarks arms wide open… 😉
Not crazy about the new Superman costume,but I’m looking forward to see what kind of personality that he’ll have. Every actor who play Superman plays him differently. 🙂
Really glad to see them together and looking froward to them interacting as family as well as fellow heroes. Long overdue but very glad it’s happening now.
Looking at the suit now I think just fixing the cape attachment would do a lot to save it. Here’s a pic (not mine) that shows one possibility. (Though I’d keep the belt red if the suit has to be trunkless).

So, what’s left to be seen with the Last Children of Krypton? Well, based on these set photos, we’re bound to see: – A Superman with a brightly-colored suit and a Clark Kent who appears to be as adorkable as Kara; – A shirt-rip sequence, probably one of the most iconic shots you’ll see; – Kara and Kal-El, side-by-side, in their blue and red suits for the first time in any live-action adaptation; – A battle with a Kryptonite-powered being or beings.
