August 17, 2015: Levi Miller Cast as Son of Cat Grant in "Supergirl"

Levi Miller TVline.com reports that Levi Miller, the young actor who played the role of Peter Pan in the big screen "Pan" origin movie, has been cast to play the son of Cat Grant in the first season of the "Supergirl" TV series.

Miller is set to make his Supergirl debut in Episode 4. Per the official character description, 12-year-old Carter is "sensitive and shy" and "couldn't be more different from his mom." As Melissa Benoist's Kara babysits her boss's son and gets to know him better, "Carter finally opens up to her - revealing his true feelings for Supergirl."

The gig reunites Miller with Greg Berlanti (an EP on both Supergirl and Pan). "We loved working with him so much on Pan, we were excited to bring him into Supergirl's universe," said Berlanti and his fellow Supergirl producers in a joint statement to TVLine. "He's an exceptional young actor and a part of the Berlanti Productions family. It will be fun for audiences, who we know will fall in love with him as Peter in Pan on Oct 9, to see his range with his turn as Calista Flockhart's American son."

TVline.com also mentions that this character is not Adam Morgan, the boy who was Cat Grant's son in the comic books, but a different character all together.

"Supergirl" premieres Monday, October 26 at 8:30pm ET on CBS, before moving into its regular 8.00pm Monday time slot.
