Today, October 25, 2011 Warner Home Video releases "Young Justice: Season One, Volume Two" on DVD.
I won't review the episodes in this DVD collection, as they have been well reviewed already on this website.
Firstly, the mostly orange DVD cover features a dynamic image of five of the Young Justice team members. Miss Martian is missing from the front cover however she does appear prominently on the back cover. The single disc, organe in color, simply has the DVD title displayed.
There are no special features beyond a handful of trailers. Upon entering the DVD into your player it automatically launches into a trailer for "Thunder Cats" followed by an advertisement for the "Green Lantern" Animated Series.
While this DVD is light on extras, I should note that the five episodes collected here are what this is really all about, and they don't disappoint. "Young Justice" is an excellent animated series, with highly production values and talented voice actors. If you collected "Young Justice: Season One, Volume One" on DVD, then you'll also want to pick up this second volume to continue collecting the first season episodes.
All in all this DVD is probably something that completists and die-hard "Young Justice" fans will want to buy, and will probably do well as an impulse-purchase at department stores or as an inexpensive gift.

Animated DC Universe cartoon series for a new generation starring ROBIN, AQUALAD, KID FLASH, SUPERBOY, MISS MARTIAN and ARTEMIS . Combined these six teenage heroes are YOUNG JUSTICE the JUSTICE LEAGUE's secret weapon against the forces of evil. Based out of THE CAVE, the teen heroes will take on under-the-radar missions that would be impossible for the League proper (with its incandescent star-power) to handle covertly. In addition, these kids are in constant training to take their place alongside the great heroes. RED TORNADO will be their supervisor; BLACK CANARY will be in charge of their training, and BATMAN will hand out their assignments. And of course, Young Justice will push their missions, often turning a simple assignment from Batman into something much larger, often discovering that what they've been tasked to do is just the tip of the iceberg.
