March 14, 2009: NBA Cashing in on Superman Phone Booth Auction
The NBA will auction the phone booth used by Dwight Howard during his Superman transformation at the 2009 Sprite Slam Dunk competition.The online auction begins on Monday, March 16 at 4.00pm on auctions.nba.com. In addition to winning the phone booth - measuring 94" high and weighing 170 pounds - the winning bidder will also receive an autographed Howard All-Star jersey.
Both items are authenticated by the NBA and come with a Certificate of Authenticity.
