Streaky's Super Cat Tale

Written by: Paul Dini
Directed by: Scott Jeralds

Squeaky finally gets his uncle Streaky to visit the famous superheroes fan club, and when Streaky pays a visit with no excuses left, he finds he's less than impressed when the members are just kittens, Jimmy the Rat (Krypto and Streaky's informant), and a cow. The kittens beg Streaky to regale them with a story. This is yet another one of those stories aired basically out of order which makes viewership all the more confusing as in "Now You See Him" he's already well known to the Superhero fan club, but here he's introduced to the members by Squeaky. Regardless, we do get a glimpse into the mind of Streaky as he manages to tell his own funny version of an adventure with cats being controlled by Tuna and led to Mekanikat's spaceship. And all of it ends up becoming a pretty funny jab at the Adam West "Batman" show, with the distorted story. Krypto is an obnoxious sidekick to Streaky, Streaky walks around in a robe, has a red phone, and he has a cat mobile, and he basically saves the day defeating Mekanikat all on his own.

The New Recruit

Written by: Mark Garabedian
Directed by: Scott Jeralds

Krypto and the Dog Stars team up yet again and get a mysterious signal from an incoming ship only to be met by a shaggy dog named Drooly. Drooly is their number one fan and literally drools over them like a fanboy begging they let him join their team. Drooly is a very funny new recruit for the Dog Stars in which his weapon of choice is basically drooling a lot and using it as a whiplash. The Dog Stars don't see anything they can use him for, but when the ship is taken over by surprise by Snooky Wookums, its Drooly to the rescue! But in a very funny series of scenes Drooly confronts Snooky Wookums and takes on her entire army of Catbots taking back the ship by making them slip and malfunction by the power of his drool, and his various abilities to form his drool in to weapons of choice in battle. Now this was a very fun episode as Drooly proved his resourcefulness using what he had to defeat Snooky, and we get to hear the Dog Star patrol oath for the first time in the series history, which was pretty cool.
