This issue sacrificed story for fight scenes. That in itself is not a bad thing at all… I just think this story needs more than the sum of eight parts, I want more of it fleshed out.To be nitpicky, this being a Clark and Diana centric book, I had hoped for a Clark & Diana centric chapter. Also this far in we still know so little about the doppelgänger.

The two short scenes with Clark White and Kara keep their stories ticking along with a little fleshing out to neatly set up the future for both these compelling ‘rebirths’, but while necessary they felt a little like a distraction.
