Superman Homepage reviewer T.A. Ewart (aka liheibao) reviews episodes from the “Justice League Action” Animated Series, airing on Cartoon Network.

Check out his review of the fifth episode of Season 1 in which Superman and Hawkman receive the help of an honorable space cab driver as they try to protect Mr. Mind from being captured by Lobo.

Justice League Action Originally Aired: January 21, 2017

CAST:
Troy Baker as Hawkman (voice)
John DiMaggio as Lobo (voice)
Jason J. Lewis as Clark Kent/Superman (voice)
Patton Oswalt as Space Cabbie (voice)
Oliver Vaquer as Mr. Mind (voice)

3Rating – 3 (out of 5): Justice League Action is an interlude, not a full-fledged show. It is a segue, not a proper series. The decision making behind making Justice League Action is transparent as cellophane, and the story ideas suffer greatly from it. “Follow That Space Cab!” plays on a variety of tropes in order to execute very little. Characters that aren’t readily known are offered up for consumption, and without the foundation that needs to be wrought for sustained viewership. What sort of longetivity can be expected from a pseudo-series that is in fact a bundle of shorts, because no one wanted to commit to a proper show?
