Eric (AllOutMaxx@aol.com) asks:
I just want to question the necessity of the increasing amount of advertisements in comic books today? I mean I understand the need for the revenue they generate, but do we really need 4 pages in a row sometimes?!

Eddie: The ads do pay the bills, but they do not affect the number of story pages. You can easily flip past them. What sucks is those ads before a movie starts in a theater now. You can't hit fast forward or anything on those.

Anthony Weber (Anthony_leona90@hotmail.com) asks:
Who is physically stronger then Superman? Is there anyone? If so does Superman have the potential to increase his power as needed, like he did in "Our Worlds At War" to become even more powerful then before? Also is Superman Prime the most powerful hero ever, in other words the top of the super power evolution?

Eddie: Superman is as powerful as the solar energy he has on hand to process. Diving into the sun can give him great power, but it does come at the price of his sanity. So, we don't do that. On the opposite side of the solar spectrum, a red sun gives him less energy to absorb making him pretty powerless. And there are many who may be physically stronger than the Man of Steel, but it's the sum of all his amazing abilities; heat vision, arctic breath, nigh invulnerability and super-speed and strength that make him pretty darn powerful. For my money, he's the best there is, but I may be biased.

Rory Cahill (RorShaq2@aol.com) asks:
If General Zod turns out to be the pre-crisis replica from the pocket universe, wouldn't this be the perfect opportunity for the golden-age Superman to return and lend our current hero a hand?

Eddie: There's something cool about that, but we want to make Zod unique and a surprise when we start unveiling his origins.

John Pipia (Jpx98@aol.com) asks:
Will we see the Hyper-Time Superman child of Wonder Woman and Superman from the "Kingdom Come" series in the near future or ever again?

Eddie: There's a Super-baby coming up in THE ADVENTURES OF SUPERMAN #603. It'll be a surprise as to its parentage.

Tom Mckay (tmckay@nycap.rr.com) says:
I have been watching the new "Justice League" animated show (I love it) and have noticed that Superman seems to be a bit weaker than in the comic books or previous television series. He is hurt by laser blasts and electric shocks (sometimes knocked unconscious) and needs an oxygen pack to swim under water or travel in space for short periods of time. Could you comment on these observations? Are the producers of the show "weakening" him to make the show "more fair" for the other characters?

Eddie: JL Superman definitely has a lower power level than his current comic book counterpart, and you're idea of making it "fair" to the other characters does make sense. But he wasn't all that powerful in his own show either. He needed breathing masks and space suits there as well.

John Little (GuitarFord@aol.com) asks:
I've always wondered what breed of dog Krypto is? Will we see more of him in say a one shot or a backup story that spreads across the 4 titles?

Eddie: We do wanna do more with him. Look to the March and April on sale issues of ACTION for more on the Canine of Steel. As for his breed, why he's a white Kryptonian m'utt.

Anthony Borrelli (Zod85@aol.com) says:
First of all, I have to say that I absolutely love the job you guys have been doing. OWAW got me hooked permanently on Superman comics. I was wondering if there was any possibility we could see my favorite old-time Superman villain, the kryptonite powered Atom Man any time soon in the comics? I thought it would be a really cool idea to resurrect such a powerful villain. Thanks, and keep up the great work!

Eddie: Jeph Loeb is especially fond of the radio version of the Atom Man, and we've been back and forth on how to get him into the books. When we come up with something, he'll be there.

Michael Sacal (manoftheatom3@hotmail.com) asks:
Why the constant use of pseudo-manga artist on the Supertitles? I miss the days of artist like Ordway and Jurgens? Also, why the sudden desire to turn Superman back into what he was 40 years ago, instead of letting the character continue on a constant evolution, as he has been since Crisis? First the Silver Age Krypton, and based on a reply I just saw now about Kandor I can only guess that you'll be bringing back the Silver Age version of that aspect of the old stories. What's next, Superman suddenly remembering that he in fact was Superboy but forgot?

Eddie: There are may aspect of the Superman lore that are just full of story possibilities with a modern twists. We're not done with Krypton yet, so just be patient. And we're just not interested in turning back the clock. This is also the reason for the current art choices. Superman is not the only comic with this type of style. While we love the work of those other artists you mention, the current choices are just allowing for different interpretations based on styles that are popular with many of the younger fans. I am trying to get a better balance in styles for the books. I hope that to be the case by this Summer.

Thanks Eddie!

Eddie: Always fun!
