In late May, the Metropolis Chamber of Commerce unveiled the official design for the 2018 Superman Celebration.
Celebrating the Celebration’s 40th anniversary, the graphic, created by Jon Pinto, features the Rebirth era Superman in front of the number 40, which features different images of Superman from across 80 years.
Appearing as a special guest in Artist Alley during the Celebration, Jon was kind enough to chat on camera with the Superman Homepage to talk to us about the design, how long it took him to draw it, and why it features the Rebirth costume and not the current “classic” red trunks design.
