Welcome to our 17th annual awards ceremony for the world of Superman! The SHIELD Awards give you, the fans, the opportunity to voice your opinions about comics with a 2017 cover date, Superman related Movies, TV shows, and Superman merchandise released in 2017.
By voting in the 2017 SHIELD Awards, you automatically go into the draw for a chance to win one of five IMAX "Justice League" movie posters.You'll find below a simple form where you'll need to enter your name and email address before moving on to the "Voting Booth" page, where you'll get to place your votes on our 15 categories. Before we jump into the ballot, though, let's quickly go through a couple of simple instructions...
- To enter into the draw for a chance to win one of five IMAX "Justice League" movie posters, you must enter in your name, email address and the country you live in in the form found below.
- Use the ballot found on the "Voting Booth" page to record your votes.
- Voting begins on November 9, 2017 and ends 11.59pm on December 11, 2017.
There are 15 categories in all for you to vote on. They are:
- Best Comic Book Writer
- Best Comic Book Artists (Pencilling/inking team)
- Best Regular Superman Title
- Best Superman Family Book (i.e. Other Superman-family comics)
- Best One Shot, Limited Series, or Guest Appearance (i.e. Other Superman-related comics)
- Best Story/Story arc in the Regular Superman Titles
- Best Story/Story arc in a Superman-Family/Related Title
- Best Comic Book Cover
- Best Reprint/Trade Paperback
- Best Appearance in an Alternative Media (i.e. TV, books, movies, etc.)
- Best Product (i.e. toys, statues, prints, etc.)
- Best "Supergirl" Episode
- Best "Supergirl" Writer
- Best "Supergirl" Actor/Regular Character
- Best "Supergirl" Support Cast Member/Guest Appearance
