The Superman Homepage Indicator of Excellence in Literature and Design Awards

The voting booth for our 12th annual awards ceremony for the world of Superman has closed!

Voting began on November 4, 2012 and ended 11.59pm on December 3, 2012.

The 2012 SHIELD Awards gave you, the fans, the opportunity to voice your opinions about comics with a 2012 cover date, Superman related TV shows, and Superman merchandise released in 2012.

Everyone who voted in the 2012 SHIELD Awards automatically went into the draw for a chance to win the "LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes" video game for the Wii.

There could only be one winner and that person is: Arief Leuvenardi

The results have been forwarded on to DC Comics, Warner Bros., Cartoon Network and the various winners. Congratulations to those creative people involved!

Grant Morrison has taken out this category again for the second year running, beating out Geoff Johns and Bryan Q. Miller for his work writing "Action Comics".
