Superman Officially Joins Twitter

The Man of Steel now has his own official Twitter account!

Sporting Twitter’s “blue tick” to indicate it’s an authenticated account, Superman joined Twitter back in January 2019, but only sent out his first tweet today, when he announced himself on the social media service: “Look, up in the sky! It’s a bird, it’s a plane…. it me.” We’re not sure if the “it me” typo was due to Lois Lane’s poor spelling influence or if Bizarro may have been involved. 😛

Kal-El sent out another tweet a few hours later, stating, “Heard this place was in need of some truth and justice.”

The @DCSuperman Twitter account already has thousands of followers, with Superman himself following some of his own comic book writers and artists.

That’s cool. I should check out what he says on Twitter.Any chance that the Man of Steel would join the comments section of the Superman Homepage? Since General Zod had a weekly bulletin at one point, I wonder if Superman and the General would talk to each through social media.
It would be interesting to see.

Nice of WB to wake up and remember that Superman exists ( he seems to be getting the short end of the stick in gaming, movies and TV).WB really needs to put in more effort in promoting this character. There’s just no functioning DCEU without Superman done right no matter how many small victories they score with more obscure characters. ( cough get Cavill cough). This account might be inundated with questions about WB’s apparent undermining or fownplaying of this character.
