Melissa Benoist has posted a photo on her Instagram account showing herself, Tyler Hoechlin and Elizabeth Tulloch together as Kara, Clark and Lois.
The three will star together in The CW’s upcoming 3-night crossover event titled “Elseworlds”.
“Two kryptonians and a journalist walk into a crossover,” Melissa captioned the photo.
The special 3-night “Elseworlds” crossover event will begin in “The Flash” on Sunday, December 9 at 8.00pm ET, and then continue in “Arrow” on Monday, December 10 at 8.00pm ET, and will conclude with “Supergirl” on Tuesday, December 11 at 8.00pm ET.
I’m guessing that they are in Smallville
Well if you climb up on a water tower in Smallville you can see Metropolis. ;p
Nice picture! I’m looking forward to seeing the event. It sheds a little bit more light on the event. It looks like they might be in smallville at some point.
Lol, for a moment I thought Clark and Lois were wearing the same shoes. I looked closely and saw that it was an optical illusion. Ha ha
Could this photo be used as a photo for the episode?
They’re all wearing work boots/hikers of some kind. Benoist’s are unique in that they have red laces, while Tulloch’s have a Doc Martens-style stitching – and they’re slip-ons, too.
Good call considering Tulloch is 4-5 months pregnant – gotta have something to get in and out of easily.
I didn’t know she was going to have a baby. That’s so wonderful. Congratulations to her.
Wonder if they’ll work that into the show. Maybe Lois is about to have Jon?
It’s a good idea. If they start a series next year, maybe they jump ahead a few years story wise to tell a Superman story about being married to Lois and raising Jon like in the comics. Maybe they do what they do in arrow where they show what happened a few years ago and shows how it effects Clark’s life now.
Hahaha one of the dumber aspects of that show. I could never understand how they landed on that idea
I’m guessing also as well.
And when I think of Smallville, I think of the show and all the fun used to have watching it. 🙂

Smallville. I really miss that show.
That is a truly lovely photo. <3 They are all emanating so much positive energy. 🙂
Well if they are doing some scenes set in Smallville maybe that means that we’ll be getting Tyler’s actual Superman rather than just the alternate Earth doppleganger in the black suit.
Hopefully you’re right MattComics. There could be a number of reasons for the new suit. That’s why I’m waiting to find out more before I jump to conclusions.
Yeah, given the image that just came out of Ollie as Flash and Barry as GA, I’m hoping there’s a bit of random universe-hopping in the story where we get to see a few WTF worlds, and Black Suit Clark is just from a Grim ‘n Gritty world. But I hope that the majority of his and Lois’s scenes are of the “real” them.
Amazing how Vancouver can become Kansas like in “Smallville.” And it’s a great looking photo by the way.
Man, I love this pic. Really makes me ache for a SUPERMAN series to debut next fall.
s-shield, I’m so in for a Superman tv series as well. I hope that it will happen soon.
And this photo looks like it was taken in the original Kent Farm from Smallville. Awesome.
It would be a cool nod to smallville if it was.
That is indeed the old Kent Farm! From Hollywood North: https://twitter.com/yvrshoots/status/1052964347842940928
That’s so cool. I’m glad that the Kent farm is being used again in the Supergirl series
Take it with a veritable bucket of salt, but Screen Rant is reporting that CW/WB are using the Elseworlds crossover as a litmus test for a Superman television series.
I did hear something similar on YouTube afriend. I don’t remember what video it was on though. I gues it a wait and see thing. Still, I’m crossing my fingers that it’s true.
Looks to me like they’ve got the Flash and Supergirl mixed up regarding their TV times.
I think with the Flash and Supergirl switching places, it has to do with the story for the crossover. After it’s over, the Flash and Supergirl will probably switch back to their regular schedules.
That was the plan all along. The Flash and Supergirl would trade timeslots just for the crossover week, and then resume their regular schedules either the following week or in January.
If only we could have the three characters in a movie in the near future…
Happy Friday everyone! A thumbs up for everybody!
