February 17, 2019: Where is "Doomsday Clock #9"?
Scheduled to be released on Wednesday, February 20, "Doomsday Clock #9" has been delayed once again.The 12-issue limited series, written by Geoff Johns with art by Gary Frank, has been plagued by delays since its first issue was released way back in November 2017.
Originally announced as a monthly publication, DC Comics changed that schedule to every two months, supposedly to allow the rest of the DC Universe to catch up, as this story takes place a year in the future. But that plan seems to have gone out the window, with constant delays now seeing issue #9 pushed back from its originally January 23, 2019 release date, missing its resolicited February 20 release, to now being promoted as a March 6 comic book.
While "Doomsday Clock" has been a commercial success for DC Comics, you have to wonder whether the constant delays will impact on the sales of future issues.
