June 7, 2017: Cameron Cuffe Talks About "Kypton" TV Series

Sitting down for a chat with eTalk.ca, actor Cameron Cuffe spoke about being cast to play the role of Seg-El on the TV series "Krypton".

"Seg-El grew up in quite a prominent family, one of the great houses of Krypton, which very early on in the story is thrown away. We cast him down to the lowest cast in society. So we have this once-mighty legacy which has sort of been thrown into the mud and he is trying to survive and trying to regain that honor that has been taken from him."

"I think we have built this world, which is so exciting on so many levels, there is loads of action and there is a lot of political drama as well as personal drama, so there is a lot going on, on the show."

From Warner Horizon Television and DC Comics, "Krypton" takes place years before the Superman legend we know, when the House of El was shamed and ostracized. This drama follows the Man of Steel's grandfather as he brings hope and equality to Krypton, turning a planet in disarray into one worthy of giving birth to the greatest Super Hero ever known.

"Krypton" will premiere in 2018 on Syfy.
