The voting booth for our 5th annual awards ceremony for the world of Superman has closed!

Voting began on November 1st 2005 and ended December 2nd 2005.

The 2005 SHIELD Awards gave you, the fans, the opportunity to voice your opinions about comics with a 2005 cover date and other Superman-related merchandise released in 2005.

Everyone who voted in the 2005 SHIELD Awards automatically went into the draw for a chance to win a Superman Gift Pack thanks to TFAW.com.

There could only be one winner and that person is: Cary Kingdom

While Greg Rucka came in at 2nd place as Best Writer, his talents on "Adventures of Superman" saw this title grab the "Best Regular Superman Title" award for the first time in the history of the SHIELD Awards. Pity this title is being cancelled...
