A week after its release on HBO Max, fans have yet another version of “Zack Snyder’s Justice League” available to watch… the “Justice is Gray” black and white edition of the 4-hour movie.
For years, the Snyder Cut existed in black and white and shown only to a select few. “Zack Snyder’s Justice League: Justice is Gray,” is now streaming on HBO Max in 4K UHD, HDR10, Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos on supported devices.
There are no differences to the version released in color and this black and white version… other than there’s no color.
As Snyder explained to The Film Junkee YouTube channel, “My ideal version of the movie is the black-and-white IMAX version of the movie. That to me is the most fan-centric, most pure, most Justice League experience. Because that’s how I lived with the movie for two years, in black and white.”

Ironically, “Justice is Grey” might be the most apt subtitle for this entire franchise iteration that could ever be conceived.
