“Zack Snyder’s Justice League” Available Digitally July 19

Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has announced that fans will be able to own a digital copy of “Zack Snyder’s Justice League” from July 19.

For months now “Zack Snyder’s Justice League” has been available to own on 4-disc 4K UHD Combo Pack, 2-disc Blu-ray, and 2-disc DVD but none of these options offered a digital download of the 4-hour film.

Determined to ensure Superman’s ultimate sacrifice was not in vain, Bruce Wayne aligns forces with Diana Prince with plans to recruit a team of metahumans to protect the world from an approaching threat of catastrophic proportions. The task proves more difficult than Bruce imagined, as each of the recruits must face the demons of their own pasts to transcend that which has held them back, allowing them to come together, finally forming an unprecedented league of heroes. Now united, Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash may be too late to save the planet from Steppenwolf, DeSaad and Darkseid and their dreadful intentions.

Really have 0 love for this movie as a Superman fan. It really says two things about the character. He’s a hammer and a dues ex machina. He returns, hammers the league like nails, leaves, then comes back and is just a plot device to resolve the conflict of the movie. Yeah, it’s cool, there’s some cool shots, but is that all there is to say about Superman? The best part of the movie was him at the Kent farm.
