While the Ultimate Edition of the movie “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” was released to Blu-ray around three years ago, director Zack Snyder has posted a high resolution version of a new poster featuring Batman, Wonder Woman and Superman.
While the image has been seen before, this version of the poster was released by Zack Snyder this week on his Vero social media account.
“Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Ultimate Edition” featured an extended cut of the film which included 30 more minutes of story and action not seen in theaters.
“Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” Ultimate Edition was released as a 3D Blu-ray and Blu-ray Combo Pack.
Isn’t he supposed to be working on another movie right now? Again, I’m not sure what the point of releasing all this stuff years later is especially when it seems the DC universe is going in a completely new direction minus two of these actors. If we were getting his cut of JL then fine, but we’re not so he should just let it go or release a book.
I agree. I can’t understand Snyder’s reasoning behind this. This is weird.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I agree and disagree, remember him being let go from JL coincided with his daughter’s suicide. So it may not be as easy as you think. It doesn’t effect me one way or the other, and if this is how he needs to cope, no harm done really.
Maybe doing a new film is bringing up memories and he’s trying to focus on the good ones?
I wouldn’t get wrapped around the axel about it.
He’s feeling a bit nostalgic I’d say. Or maybe a wee bit disappointed and kicking himself in the kiester for not giving fans the service they deserve. In anyway, while I appreciate his efforts sharing BTS material, and there is no mention of JL Snyder Cut being released anytime soon…I think we shall all carry on living and looking forward to future projects.
This is why I won’t hold my breath for a “Snyder Cut” for Justice League. Both theatrical and ultimate cuts for BvS sucked.
Yeah weeeelllllll….the BvS Ultimate Cut was ways better than the theatrical.
But it still wasn’t the Batman and Superman team up the characters deserved on their first ever outing.
Sorry you didn’t like BvS. I liked it but they should have established Superman with a sequel before they combined him with Batman. At that point no one had even referred to him or called him Superman to his face. Never the less there were many scenes through out BvS that I for one really liked.
Since were not getting anything except the silent treatment from the WB, I’ll take this as a something Superman over nothing.
