I think Michael makes a really good point about the DC characters functioning better in a serialized format but I would extend that to superheroes in general. Really Spider-Man would be much better served as a weekly tv show. Watching play-throughs of the recent PS4 game made me feel like I was coming in on a tv show in like Season 8 and I wished I could binge watch the seasons before it.
