Xander Berkeley Joins Cast of “Supergirl” for Season 4

According to TVinsider.com, Xander Berkeley, who currently appears as Gregory on “The Walking Dead,” will be joining the cast of “Supergirl” for Season 4.

Berkeley will play the role of Peter Lockwood, father of Ben Lockwood set to be played by Sam Witwer. As we’ve reported earlier, Witwer (who played David Bloom on “Smallville”) has been cast to play the role of Ben Lockwood, aka Agent Liberty.

As Ben’s father, Berkeley’s role is described as “a middle-class factory owner struggling to make ends meet in a world that’s rapidly changing due to the rise of aliens from outer space living amongst us.” Peter Lockwood is “proud and single-minded, a family man who’s dedicated his life providing for people. The seeds of his discontent sows the beginning of an anti-alien wave.”

Season 4 of “Supergirl” will premiere on The CW on Sunday, October 14 at 8.00pm.

How many characters does this show keep adding? Isn’t Supergirl and her small group good enough? Since I am making a note on the “Supergirl” show, I wonder just how they will waste both Superman and Lois Lane in the crossover episodes. Will the “mighty” team of the Flash, Supergirl and Arrow have to save the day for them? It is bad enough that Tyler’s Superman outfit is so clunky, that the Lego Superman actually looks better, but they relegate “The Man of Steel” to a subordinate of Supergirl. What a joke! If Supergirl didn’t have the “S” on her… Read more »

This actor was on the Walking Dead series. He’s a pretty good actor. I can’t wait to see what he will bring to the Supergirl series.

Why are they adding so many little-known characters just to add up drama? When I first heard of Supergirl tv show, I expected a superhero action, NOT a soap opera! Episodes with more familiar characters, such as Livewire, are the best. Too bad they wasted them and focus too much on relationship drama. If I had my way with this tv show, I would make it more faithful to Supergirl and Superman comics. While Supergirl should still be the main focus, Superman NEEDS to be part of the cast. He would be there for Supergirl as a mentor and an… Read more »

More and more gets added to what I call…DEEP STATE TELEVISION…this ridiculous show which I was a fan of…HAS GONE OFF THE DEEP RACIST, HATEFUL LEFTIST NEW WORLD ORDER END. I suppose the next thing you know, they invent a character that berates talk radio host Alex Jones like in the show “Homeland.”

Pfft. I’d watch Supergirl stomping Alex Jones all day.
