According to Deadline.com, actor Wolé Parks’ (All American, Devious Maids) has been cast in the role known only as ‘The Stranger’ for The CW’s upcoming TV series “Superman and Lois”.

Described as “a mysterious visitor hellbent on proving to the world that it no longer needs Superman,” the identity of The Stranger was thought to be that of Lex Luthor, as revealed by leaked copies of the Pilot episode script, but that role is already being played by Jon Cryer (as seen on “Supergirl”) in this universe. Wolé’s casting leaves the identity of ‘The Stranger’ a mystery.

Produced by Berlanti Productions and Warner Bros. Television, “Superman and Lois” is being written and executive produced by Todd Helbing, former showrunner of The Flash. Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, and Geoff Johns will also executive produce the series.

The cast includes: Tyler Hoechlin (Superman/Clark Kent), Elizabeth Tulloch (Lois Lane), Jordan Elsass (Jonathan Kent), Alexander Garfin (Jordan Kent), Emmanuelle Chriqui (Lana Lang Cushing), Erik Valdez (Kyle Cushing), Dylan Walsh (General Sam Lane) and Wolé Parks (The Stranger).

It’s nice to read that there’s a new cast member added to this upcoming Superman and Lois series. I wish Wolé Parks good luck in his new role. I’m very much looking forward to see this show. I’m still advocating for Routh to get a Superman movie trilogy or/and tv series on a streaming service. How about it WB? HBO Max would be a great place for a Brandon Routh Superman series.
