Over half of you feel that Tom Welling probably won’t be seen wearing a Superman costume in the upcoming crossover. It would be nice if the 28% who said “Yes” are right.

I was one of those who voted unsure/undecided. I hope he does. It would be really really cool if he did. I’m just not sure if it’s going to happen though. Again I hope he does. Fingers crossed that he does.
If it were me, I’d do it just to shut everyone up once and for all haha. That’s just me though! It’s cool if he doesn’t though. I’m just glad him and Erica are coming back at all. I wish Rosenbaum was coming back. I’d gladly trade welling in the suit for another lex/Clark scene. Happy Friday, Spidey!
Yeah, it’s a shame that Rosenbaum won’t be in this crossover event. To have Welling return just isn’t the same without Michael. Michael’s Lex was the perfect counter to Tom’s Clark. Clark vs Lex. Good vs Evil. Light against Dark. Brain against Brawn. “Mind over Muscle.” as Hackman and Spacy have said in their roles as Luthor. I don’t see the guy who said for 10 years, “I’m not wearing that,” change his mind for a cameo appearance.
I think what we saw of him in shirt and jeans is what we will get.
He didn’t even wear it for the Smallville finale, they had to CGI a Superman for full body shots.
Chances are Tom and Erica will just step out of the house go “WTF” and BAM earth erased.
I really hope that’s not the case. I can’t see them doing that.
There’s enough of a vocal backlash against the way the finale played out re: the suit, that the powers that be had to have been giving it some serious thought… Also I’ll say this; John Wesley Shipp has been honest over the years about how he didn’t like the 90s Flash suit (apparently that weird flocky coating made it airtight, so he was losing tens pounds a day in sweat), but he was a good sport and wore it again last year.
