Will Teri Hatcher Play a Villain on “Supergirl”?

Ever since it was announced that Teri Hatcher would be appearing in Season 2 of “Supergirl”, fans have been wondering just what role the former Lois Lane (from “Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman”) would be playing. Is she indeed a Daxamite? Will she be royalty? Is she a villain?

In a new interview with ComicBook.com, Executive Producer Andrew Kreisberg gives us a little further insight into the role Teri Hatcher will be playing on upcoming episodes of “Supergirl”.

“Oh yeah. What’s so amazing is she’s so not playing Lois and she is so not playing kind of any character I’ve ever seen her play before. She’s so not Susan from Desperate Housewives and she’s really playing something completely different that was in her repertoire of all the things that she’s ever done and she’s doing it amazingly. So it’s really exciting for us because it’s like, you know, usually with some of these things you know it’s like “oh it’s just a pale carbon copy or they’re just repeating themselves”.

Chyler Leigh, who plays the role of Alex Danvers, says that watching Hatcher work is quite impressive. “She can say one word and then all of a sudden the way that she says it you’re like “ooh, I don’t want to cross her.” She’s got a lot of power in that teeny tiny little frame of hers.”

The next new episode of “Supergirl” is titled “Exodus”, this episode is scheduled to air on The CW in the USA on Monday, March 6 at 8.00pm ET/PT.

Teri Hatcher is expected to make her first appearance on “Supergirl” in the episode scheduled to air on Monday, March 13.
