A source close to the “Titans” live-action series has revealed a few interesting details that might be of interest to Superman fans and DC fans alike.
Word is that the construction crew have been hard at work building a box prop that is supposed to contain a special type of Kryptonite. Who is the Kryptonite for? Apparently it’s required to keep a super canine under control… Krypto!
Fans can expect to see Krypto make an appearance in the first season of the “Titans” series, which is coming to the DC Universe digital streaming platform later in 2018.
FINALLY. I usually don’t like dogs but I’d love to see Krypto depicted in a live action format.
I’d be fine with it if its a respectful portrayal and not just kind of crapping all over the concept, a kill off, or turning him into a flesh eating demon dog or something.
I would like to see Krypto as well. If they do bring him on the show, I wonder if we will see his origin story on how he left Krypton.
The trailer seems to be another obnoxious case of DC doubling down on grimdark and being “edgy”. So I don’t have high hopes for Krypto’s treatment or portrayal in this. ..or the Titans themselves for that matter. It’s like this team is torn between two opposite yet equally absurd and needless extremes with Go and this series.
