I’ve been hearing mostly positive things from non spoiler reviews from various websites who had advanced screenings for this show. I have a great feeling that Superman is headed for success on tv for the foreseeable future. The world needs a good hopeful Superman tv series. And I believe Superman and Lois is that series. “Man this is gonna be good.” So let the good times roll. 🙂

He just finished up his role in The Rookie. I didn’t care for it as they used some of todays supposed racial problems as a major part of the story line. But never the less, he was good at playing the “bad” guy.

Eh, it’s not *that* surprising, the Homepage isn’t representative of a specific sample for a number of reasons, not the least of which is the ability to vote without logging in to an account. I remember, back in the day, Smallville *killing* it in polls, despite the sentiment from regulars on the page and the forum being overwhelmingly negative towards the show. You get the roaming teens and tweens, the CW fans, the Superman fans that just want a new TV show, the people that outright dislike Snyder’s movies (hyped or not, they are controversial among Superman fans) and the… Read more »

Is it possible that one reason why Superman and Lois received more votes is because of how often Superman will appear on screen?
I don’t think Cavill’s Superman will have a huge amount of screen time whereas Hoechlin’s Superman will because his Superman will have a weekly story rather than being seen only for two possibly three hours of story for a movie.

From what I’ve heard, people are really excited about this show. Plus Steve has a non spoiler review from his early viewing of the show and he liked it. I say that’s a good sign of what’s to come from this show. 🙂

I’m sure that’s a component also. The numbers might had been different, if we were talking about a solo Superman movie, even if it was by Snyder.

True. Movies tend to have more viewings than shows. Although these days fewer people are going to the movies due to the virus that’s going around. It’s a sad truth unfortunately.
