I imagine that it must be magical to see this film on the big screen. I’m happy for the people who can go see this.

I’ve seen it on the big screen twice; and it really is magical. While better than most of its contemporaries, they mostly hold up after almost 42 years, there are a couple of special effects that look a little clunky when you pay attention to them (the miniatures during the scene where Superman stops the flood are a little on the Thomas the Tank Engine side), but it all just disappears into real movie magic when it’s all on a big screen.

Even if there was no health crisis going on I still wouldn’t be able to see it on the big screen since I live pretty far from any movie theater. It’s a bummer.
Maybe one day they’ll open up a movie theater near me. If I’m lucky that is. But I don’t think that’s going to happen anytime soon unfortunately. 🙁
I wish I could see this film on the big screen. It’s my favorite movie as well as my favorite Superman movie.

I’ll never forget seeing it in theaters when it came out. I was 5 years old and I still remember the butterflies in my stomach when the John Williams theme builds up and that giant \S/ flashes on the screen. ..and that still happens to me when I watch it now.

I think one thing that viewing on the big screen really makes you appreciate is the flying sequences and just how important it is to SHOW Superman flying instead of just having him zip away into a CG mini-me.
