Warner Bros. Home Entertainment looks set to release 4K Ultra HD versions of “Superman II,” “Superman III,” and “Superman IV: The Quest for Peace” in early 2023.
According to The Digital Bits, both the theatrical cut and Donner Cut will be included in the 4K UHD Blu-ray release of “Superman II”.
Like “Superman: The Movie,” which was saw its 4K UHD Blu-ray release in November 2018, it’s expected that the 2023 release of the other Christopher Reeve Superman films will also feature Dolby Vision HDR and Dolby Atmos audio.
While there’s been no official announcement from Warner Bros. Home Entertainment yet, Amazon UK does have a listing for the 4K UHD release of “Superman III” listed on their website, indicating an April 3, 2023 release date.
Our own sources indicate that 2023 is set to be a big year for Superman fans when it comes to releases from Warner Bros. Home Entertainment.
