Voice Work Begins on “Young Justice” Season 3

Khary Paton, who voiced the role of Aqualad on the “Young Justice” animated series, has revealed via his Twitter account that the cast has begun recording their lines for Season 3 of the much-loved animated series.

His words “& we start once more for the fallen… #YoungJustice #season3” has fans wondering whether he’s referring to the fallen hero Wally West, who appeared to die in the final story arc of Season 2… back in 2013.

Production began on the third season back in November 2016, with the promise of “new twists, turns and dangerous new threats for the team, but most importantly, the opportunity for fans to finally continue the adventures of some of their favorite Super Heroes.”

“The affection that fans have had for Young Justice, and their rallying cry for more episodes, has always resonated with us,” said Sam Register, President, Warner Bros. Animation and Warner Digital Series, in a statement back in November. “We are excited to bring the show back for this loyal fanbase and to provide an opportunity for new viewers to discover this excellent series.”

Producers Brandon Vietti and Greg Weisman, who created the series, will both return, but no further details have been released at this point in regards to which TV network the series will air on or what date it will premiere. Warner Bros. Animation did release a promotional poster image for “Young Justice” Season 3 along with a tentative website at www.yjs3.com.
