Lex Luthor recruits a dangerous criminal named John Corben to be transformed into Metallo, a skin-covered cyborg with a Kryptonite heart, and Superman must do all he can to stop the villain.

I remember this episode. Great episode.
Looking back at this episode,I realize that even though Metallo was a villain, he was also a victim of Luthor. So there’s a certain level of sympathy for the charature. He’s had his humanity taken away from him. True that he has done terrible things to Superman and Metropolis, but terrible things have been done to him as well. He can’t help what’s been done to him. So he lashes out at everyone,including Superman. In a way he ends up being like the Frakenstine monster. And much like the monster from Frakenstine,he even tries to go after his own creator… Read more »
