The DC Kids YouTube channel has released a clip from the 1970s “Super Friends” cartoon in which a villain, named Doctor Pelagian, has invented a computer for his submarine that could control the weather. He creates a tidal wave and a number of other storms in an attempt to attack three businessmen.
This is taken from the episode titled “Dr. Pelagian’s War” which was the fifth episode of the first season of “Super Friends,” which first aired on October 6, 1973.
