General Zod Appears in CinemaCon Trailer for “The Flash”

Warner Bros. showed off a new trailer for “The Flash” movie at CinemaCon last night, and by all reports those in attendance were blown away by what they saw.

While some are describing the trailer was very “Batman heavy,” there are a couple of Superman connections, with both Supergirl (played by Sasha Calle) and General Zod (played by Michael Shannon) appearing in the trailer.

While Zod died at the end of “Man of Steel,” we do know that “The Flash” is a film that will explore many different multiverse realities and timelines, which could include a version of reality where Zod is still alive.

Earlier rumors about “The Flash” did indicate that both Michael Shannon and Antje Traue would be reprising their roles of Zod and Faora respectively, this trailer confirms that news.

CinemaCon is currently taking place at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. There’s no word on whether Warner Bros. will release the CinemaCon trailer online anytime soon.

“The Flash” is scheduled to premiere on June 23, 2023.

Dwayne Johnson was also in attendance, and gave the audience a sneak peek at the upcoming “DC League of Super-Pets” animated movie coming out on July 29, 2022.

I’m no longer interested in this. They almost had me with that bait and switch with Keaton, but I have no interest in seeing baby superman killed and whatever version of supergirl this is fighting faora. I don’t know if this more disrespect to the character or the actor playing him or just anything associated with zack Snyder, but whatever, I’m out.

Same here unfortunately. I just don’t care anymore due to the disrespect for Cinematic Superman. I’ll see it if/when it goes to a streaming service I already have eventually.

Will this movie even come out now considering all of the set backs that it’s had?
