Striking unused character poster concepts for James Gunn’s 2025 “Superman” film have surfaced online, created by artist Brandon Moat. The designs showcase four key characters — Superman, Lois Lane, Guy Gardner, and Mr. Terrific — each with a bold, color-coded aesthetic that ties their identity to a signature palette.

The concepts feature dramatic typographic treatments with character names running vertically along the edge of each frame, a stylistic choice that gives the series a cohesive, graphic-novel energy. Superman’s poster leans into heroic blues and reds against a dramatic sky, while Lois Lane’s is bathed in warm gold tones befitting her Daily Planet setting. Guy Gardner’s design pops with an electric green glow from his power ring, and Mr. Terrific’s is a sleek red-and-black affair surrounded by his iconic T-Spheres.
While these concepts didn’t make it into the official promo campaign, fans have responded enthusiastically online — some arguing they rival or surpass the final marketing materials. Moat’s work highlights just how much creative vision goes unseen behind major blockbuster releases.
