Two more comic book store exclusive covers for “Action Comics” have now been unveiled.
Uncanny Comic Shop has an exclusive variant cover for the landmark “Action Comics #1000” issue by Tony S. Daniel.
This variant cover showing Superman intercepting a missile is exclusive to Uncanny Comic Shop, which has the cover available to order via their website.
Another variant cover comes from artist Nicola Scott, showing many different versions of Superman wearing a variety of different versions of the costume.
This variant cover is exclusive to Kings Comics in Sydney, Australia, who also has it available to order via their website.
With “Action Comics” speeding toward its landmark 1,000th issue on Superman’s 80th anniversary (April 18), not only will we see a series of variant covers capturing the look and feel of the Man of Steel throughout different eras of his 80-year run, but certain comic book stores will also have their own exclusive variant covers available in limited numbers.
Some of comics’ most prolific artists will be lending their considerable talents to celebrate Superman’s incredible impact on comics, literature and popular culture through these variant covers:

- 1990s by Dan Jurgens (ACTION COMICS) and Kevin Nowlan (HAWKMAN: FOUND)
- 2000s by Lee Bermejo (LUTHOR)

Some of these are just downright glorious. It stinks that they are exclusive to specific stores… jealous of the fans who snag a copy of these without spending a small fortune.
