Synopsis:

Woody Samms is doing everything in his power to not be found after a contract was placed on him by Little Tony, a gangster that wants nothing more than to find Samms and and have him killed.

This is one of those episodes that I watched thinking, what were they thinking. Woody Samms is a low level crook that lives with his daughter Becky and has the ability to transfer his consciousness into the body of something else, as we see at the start of the episode where he is a monkey that has just returned from a heist. He needs to get out of this contract that Little Tony has on him, so he decides to do that he must transfer his consciousness into a body that can get close to Little Tony and who does he pick, none other than Clark Kent.

1Review Rating - 1 (out of 5): This episode has got nothing to do that means anything to the series, let alone season four. It was like the previous episode never existed. I think that the writers just came up with this idea in the work room and said, how about this, we haven't tried this one yet. They could have put this episode almost anywhere throughout this season (well any time after Lois and Clark got married anyway).

The story line did make sense, even though I wasn't a fan of this episode as you can probably tell from my comments so far. I understand what they were going for and I did have some fun watching parts of this episode. The idea of a low ranged criminal that had a target on his back I felt had been done so many times in other TV shows at the time, but at least this episode had a different take on the idea. I enjoyed a little Spider-Man moment at the start of this episode, I think Sam Raimi was watching. I did like one small part of the plot that worked well in this episode. Lois writes an article about a robbery that no one can figure out how it happened, but it turns out to be the main plot of the episode, well we find out how anyway.

I think Dean Cain had a lot of fun in this episode. He seems to just let loose whenever he plays another character in these episodes. Teri Hatcher did what she needed to for this episode, but I don't think she was much of a fan of this episode either. The new actors for this episode brought in a bit of fun and enjoyment but they were just out of place I felt. Tim Thomerson who plays Woody Samms did a good job, especially as he had to play Clark as well but I think trying to replicate someone who has played that character for four seasons and the chemistry that Dean Cain and Teri Hatcher has, it was hard to watch as it really looked fake between himself and Teri Hatcher. There was a little bit of nostalgia in this episode for me, with Staci Keanan in this episode. I felt she played her part as was written but I would have loved to have seen more of a bond between her and her father in this episode. I feel the ending kind of killed it for me, no pun intended.

Next week, "Toy Story".
